MAHUBE-OTWA Tiny Home Veteran Village Coming Soon!

How We Got Started

In early 2024, MAHUBE-OTWA received funding from the Minnesota Department of Human Services for a Tiny Home Village – receiving $1.7 million in support.

MAHUBE-OTWA brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in state, federal, and community funding, effective leveraging philanthropic contributions while fostering strong partnerships.

The Tiny Home Village will consist of tiny homes alongside a shared community space. The communal area will feature laundry facilities, a private office for confidential meetings with service providers, a computer station, and spaces for residents to connect and socialize. Additional unique aspects include safe and dignified shelter and an emphasis on healing by staying closely connected to the natural surroundings.
