Community Garden

Mikinaak Gitigaaning (Turtle Garden) is located on the west side of the Detroit Lakes MAHUBE-OTWA office building.

The garden contains fruit-bearing trees and bushes, vegetables, and American Indian medicine plants.

This is a community garden with open spaces to bring children to play, take a walk along the walking paths, youth-friendly spaces to learn about our natural environment and a place to relax.
